Police report man's death from crossbow wound

Authorities have confirmed that a man, whose death is under investigation, succumbed to injuries inflicted by a crossbow. Suffolk Police received a call from emergency services shortly before 20:00 GMT on Tuesday, reporting a man seriously hurt on Lordscroft Lane in Haverhill.

The victim later passed away, and a post-mortem examination revealed that a crossbow bolt was the cause of death.

A 61-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of murder but has been released on police bail, according to official statements.
