Prince George, Princess Charlotte & Prince Louis Get Prestigious Invitation That Would Delight Queen Elizabeth

A cherished friend of the late Queen Elizabeth II has extended a special invitation to her great-grandchildren Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 an honor the Queen herself would have adored. The invitation comes from none other than Paddington Bear, one of the U.K.s most beloved cultural icons.

Representatives for Paddington have asked the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales to attend Paddington The Musical, a new West End production featuring the famous bear who long symbolized British charm. Queen Elizabeth shared a memorable connection with Paddington, even appearing with him in a 2022 Platinum Jubilee video where the two enjoyed a marmalade sandwich together.

At the premiere, producer Sonia Friedman shared her excitement, saying she hopes the royal children will come to the performance, which she described as a truly special moment waiting to happen.

Tom Fletcher of McFly, who composed the shows original music and lyrics, also expressed hope that Prince William and Princess Catherine will bring their children to the theatre. He recently introduced Paddington to the royal couple during a Royal Variety performance and recalled how delighted they seemed during the preview they witnessed.

During that event, Princess Catherine mentioned that her children would be disappointed to have missed the experience, adding that she and Prince William might have to keep the night a secret from them.

The Wales family is known for sharing memorable cultural moments with their children, from attending Taylor Swifts Eras Tour to visiting the set of the upcoming Harry Potter series at Windsor Great Park where Prince Louis even had the chance to ride on the train with the driver.
