Queen Camilla wears a historic sapphire brooch during German State Visit to the United Kingdom

Queen Camilla blended contemporary fashion with royal heritage, wearing an Anna Valentine coat paired with a diamond and sapphire brooch during the official welcome ceremony for German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Bdenbender in London and Windsor on Wednesday.

For the occasion, the Queen Consort chose a sapphire-colored coat by Anna Valentine, featuring an asymmetrical front with scalloped details that extended to the sleeves. She complemented the ensemble with a Philip Treacy hat, designed with flowing lines and feather accents that echoed the asymmetrical theme of her outfit. Black suede boots by Eliot Zed and a handbag from Atelier Renard completed her look.

The centerpiece of Queen Camillas attire was a historic sapphire and diamond brooch originally given to Queen Victoria by her husband, Prince Albert, in the 19th century. This treasured piece was worn by Queen Victoria on her wedding day and later inherited by Queen Elizabeth II, who also wore it for significant royal events.
