A 34-year-old man tragically lost his life after being struck by two vehicles on the M65 motorway, with his loved ones describing him as someone exceptionally remarkable.
Wojciech Trzebinski, known to family and friends as Wojtek, was first hit by a white Fiat Punto and subsequently by a brown Mitsubishi ASX near Burnley on 21 November.
Lancashire Police reported that the incident occurred around 21:50 GMT near the junction 10 slip road on the westbound side of the motorway.
Paying tribute, Wojteks family from Accrington said: "No words can express the depth of our sorrow or the void his passing has left in our hearts."
The family added: "Wojtek was, and will always remain, someone truly speciala devoted father, cherished son and brother, loving nephew and uncle, loyal cousin, and a dear friend to so many.
"He found peace and happiness in the mountains, often walking their trails alongside his daughter, Julia. After long workdays, he enjoyed sharing laughter and adventures through computer games with his nephew Dawid and cousin Karol.
"In quieter moments, Wojtek poured his love into cooking, preparing meals with the same warmth and care that he shared with everyone around him."
