State Crown defaced, leading to closure of Tower of London

The Tower of London has temporarily closed its doors following an incident where the display case housing the State Crown was vandalized by demonstrators, according to police reports.
Authorities were alerted just before 10:00 GMT on Saturday when four protesters allegedly threw an unidentified substance onto the glass enclosure of the State Crown. Two of the demonstrators left the scene immediately afterward.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that four individuals were detained on suspicion of causing criminal damage and are currently in custody.
The Tower remains inaccessible to visitors as law enforcement continues their investigation into the event.
