Wynn Resorts has released an update on the construction of its newest property, Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This marks the companys inaugural integrated resort in the UAE, situated roughly 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. The development is a joint venture with Marjan Properties and RAK Hospitality Holding, with Wynn Design & Development leading the resort's overall design. The total project investment is estimated at $5.1 billion.
ALEC Engineering and Contracting, affiliated with the Investment Corporation of Dubai, secured the main construction contract in 2023, while German foundation expert Bauer International was appointed to handle piling and enabling works. The resorts main tower, planned to reach a height of 305 meters, is nearing completion, with topping out anticipated later this month.
The tower has now reached its 70th floor, with ongoing construction of the roof deck. Facade installation has progressed to 73%, with 19,206 of the 26,247 panels already in place. Low-rise buildings have nearly finished their structural work, with concrete and steel components at 97% completion.
The resort is expected to open in early 2027. Spanning over 60 hectares, it will feature 1,217 resort rooms, 297 enclave suites, ten Marina Estates, four garden townhomes, and two royal apartments. Planned amenities include 22 dining venues, lounges and bars, a beach club, spa and beauty facilities, a luxury shopping area, and the Coral Court event venue. Additionally, a theater named The Showroom, 12 swimming pools, a 420-meter white sand beach, and a deep-water marina for superyachts will be part of the resorts offerings.
Structural construction has been finalized for 1,526 out of 1,530 units, representing 99.7% of total accommodations. Interior fit-out work is ongoing in approximately 1,504 units, alongside mechanical and electrical installations across the site.
This construction update underscores Wynn Resorts progress as it approaches the topping-out milestone at Wynn Al Marjan Island.
