On Friday, The New York Times filed a lawsuit against the artificial intelligence company Perplexity, accusing the startup of multiple instances of copyright infringement. The newspaper claims that Perplexity provided its content to users without obtaining authorization or establishing a licensing agreement.
Perplexity has not yet issued a statement regarding the lawsuit.
