On December 5, the New York Times filed a lawsuit against the AI startup Perplexity AI, claiming that the company illegally copied, distributed, and displayed millions of its articles. The Times asserts that these actions were used to train AI chatbots without authorization.
Perplexity AI has not yet provided any response to the allegations.
