Trump Engages in a Massive, Unhinged Late Night Posting Spree

On Monday night, former President Donald Trump unleashed a series of intense posts on his social media platform, spreading a theory suggesting that former First Lady Michelle Obama was signing presidential pardons on behalf of President Joe Biden. Trumps activity surged from 7 p.m. to nearly midnight on the East Coast, resulting in over 160 posts and reshares.

Among the posts, Trump amplified a video from far-right commentator Alex Jones, which featured claims made by Overstock.com founder Patrick Byrne. Byrne alleged that Obama utilized Bidens autopen to authorize four or five pardons, a method Trump has repeatedly criticized. In the clip, Byrne exclaimed that such actions were so illegal.

President Biden has previously addressed the autopen discussion, clarifying in June that he personally made decisions on pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. He labeled any alternative suggestion as ridiculous and false.

Beyond the claims involving Obama and Biden, Trump also targeted other political figures. He criticized former Attorney General Eric Holder, condemned Democratic veterans who encouraged troops to ignore unlawful orders as a threat to America, accused Senator Adam Schiff of crimes against the nation, and shared content labeling Representative Ilhan Omar as a terrorist from a terrorist family.

In one post, Trump circulated an AI-generated video portraying Elon Musk discussing Trumps promise to immediately remove temporary legal protections for Somali migrants in Minnesota. This comes as the Treasury Department under Trump reportedly seeks to probe allegations that stolen taxpayer funds in Minnesota were diverted to a Somali terrorist organization, a claim with little supporting evidence.

During the posting spree, Trump also promoted theories suggesting that Bidens former White House chief of staff, Jeff Zients, along with Hunter Biden, were secretly controlling presidential pardons within the administration.
