6-year-old boy passes away following a 'Severe Asthma Attack' during shopping trip with his mother

A young boy, aged six, tragically died after experiencing a severe asthma attack while shopping with his mother in Australia on November 28. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, he passed away.

Magnus Landon Kaydes mother, Casey Morris, shared her grief on a GoFundMe page, describing the loss as devastating. My son tragically passed at the Urangan shopping centre. It is a heartbreaking loss for me, my daughters, and everyone who loved him, she wrote.

Morris spoke of her sons health challenges, noting that he had faced many obstacles but remained a spirited and joyful child. She recalled one of his last moments, when he caught a toad he named Jeff, delighting those around him as he began to express his playful personality more fully.

She also expressed gratitude to those who tried to help save Magnus and to the people who offered comfort during the crisis. I will forever be thankful to everyone who tried to save my little boy, she said. Magnus will be deeply missed, and my heart breaks every day. I just want my baby back.

Eyewitnesses at the Urangan Shopping Center described the scene as deeply upsetting. One recalled the mothers overwhelming distress, while another noted the shock of seeing a young boy in such critical condition. The tragedy has prompted an outpouring of condolences for the family.

The Urangan Shopping Center and Queensland Ambulance Service have not provided official comments regarding the incident.
