Chad Spodick, known for appearing on the reality dating show Finding Prince Charming, has died at the age of 42. His passing was confirmed through a GoFundMe page created by his family and friends on Thursday.
The GoFundMe statement expressed the grief of his loved ones: Our hearts are shattered as we share the devastating news of the loss of our beautiful, kind, and generous son, brother, and friend Chad. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and we are still struggling to imagine life without his light.
Spodick was remembered as someone who devoted himself to helping others. The statement noted, He lifted up his friends, encouraged everyone around him to grow, to advocate for themselves, and to believe in their own worth.
His affection for animals was also highlighted. Chads love for animals was unmatched he cared deeply for every creature, especially his four dogs and his bird, Cosmo. The world was brighter with Chad in it, and anyone fortunate enough to know him felt the warmth of his heart every day.
The GoFundMe, organized by Kate Werbowski, aims to assist Spodicks mother, Felice Harwood, with funeral costs, ongoing living expenses, and care for the familys pets. The statement concluded, Thank you for helping us honor Chads memory and support the people and animals he loved most.
Spodick participated in the first and only season of Logos Finding Prince Charming, which premiered in 2016 and was hosted by NSYNCs Lance Bass. He left the show in its sixth week and later mentioned that the shows Prince Charming, Robert Seplveda Jr., approached him and other contestants after the series ended.
Following his death, friends and fans have shared memories and tributes on Spodicks final Instagram post, celebrating his kindness and positivity. His niece also encouraged donations to his GoFundMe to help support the family.
Chad Spodick is survived by his mother, family members, and his cherished pets.
