Eduardo Manzano, the renowned Mexican actor and comedian celebrated for his work on "El Show de los Polivoces", has passed away at the age of 87.

His son, Lalo Manzano, announced on Friday that the beloved performer died on Thursday, December 4. The family did not disclose the cause of death.

In a heartfelt message, Lalo described his father as a cherished entertainer and an exceptional individual whose talent was matched by his warmth and intelligence. He reflected on how deeply admired Manzano was by audiences and by everyone who knew him personally.

A key figure in the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, Manzano built a successful career during the 1960s alongside fellow comedian Enrique Cuenca. Together they formed the memorable duo Los Polivoces, appearing in films such as "Agarrando Parejo" and "Tres Mil Kilmetros de Amor", later starring in the 1969 feature "El Aviso Inoportuno."

Their legacy was cemented by the launch of "El Show de los Polivoces", a sketch comedy program that became widely popular for its vibrant character performances and celebrity parodies. The show aired for four seasons from 1971 to 1975, establishing Manzano as one of Mexicos most admired comedic talents.

Manzano continued working actively for decades, most notably portraying Don Arnoldo Lpez in the sitcom "Una Familia de Diez" for more than 130 episodes between 2007 and 2022. Lalo Manzano thanked fans for their support, expressing deep gratitude for the love shown to his father throughout his life and career.

Many colleagues and admirers shared messages of grief and respect following the news of Manzanos passing. Actor Luis Felipe Tovar expressed his condolences to Lalo, honoring Manzano as a legend who accomplished his purpose with distinction.
