Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's $30 Million Cotswold Residence Experiencing Flooding Once More

Ellen DeGeneres is encountering difficulties in selling her Cotswolds farmhouse in the United Kingdom. The television personality and her wife, actress Portia De Rossi, purchased the Kitesbridge Farm estate in June 2024 for $20 million and moved in by the end of that year.

Shortly after settling into the seven-bedroom property, reports emerged that the surrounding area had experienced flooding. The couple listed the 43-acre estate for sale in July, increasing the price to $30 million, but a buyer has yet to be found.

According to new photos and a report obtained by the Daily Mail, the property appears to have encountered flooding once again following Storm Claudia, when the nearby River Windrush overflowed. The couple has since relocated to another high-value property elsewhere in the Cotswolds, where they have been residing for some time.

When flooding affected the surrounding fields last November, DeGeneres reassured followers on Instagram, stating that their UK farmhouse had not been flooded. She has mentioned that she chose to move to the Cotswolds the day after Donald Trumps re-election, citing that life in the region is just better, according to the BBC.

The couple, married since 2008, now live in a hilltop mansion with ample land to accommodate horses. They are accompanied by their two puppies, Sport and Jinx, as well as their older dog, Kid.

DeGeneres and De Rossi have been seen at local establishments, including The Farmers Dog in Burford, owned by British TV host Jeremy Clarkson, and The Falkland Arms in Great Tew, Oxfordshire.
