Expecting Erin Krakow Marks Half a Year of Matrimony with Spouse Ben Rosenbaum: 'Greatest Choice'

Erin Krakow is marking six months of marriage with her husband and When Calls the Heart co-star, Ben Rosenbaum. On December 1, the actress shared a photo of Rosenbaum on Instagram, describing him as the "best husband."

Just a few days prior, Krakow announced that she is expecting her first child with Rosenbaum. The actress, 41, celebrated this joyful period in her life by sharing a heartfelt post about their marriage.

"6 months married," Krakow captioned a photo of her husband, 38, sitting at a restaurant table, smiling with his chin resting in his hand. "Best decision. Best husband. @ben_rosenbaum."

Rosenbaum also shared an anniversary post featuring Krakow at the same restaurant table. His caption read: "6 months of wedded bliss. 5 months of growing our baby. 1 lifetime of love in front of us @erinkrakow ."

Krakow revealed the couple's pregnancy on November 26, posting a series of photos showing them holding a strip of sonogram images. One photo included their dog, Willoughby, wearing a "big brother" shirt. "So much to be grateful for!!! ," she wrote.

On Thanksgiving, November 27, Krakow shared her first baby bump photo. Sitting on a bench, she wore a Mickey Mouse T-shirt lifted slightly to show her stomach, holding a pineapple treat and a pickle in each hand. "Happy Thanksgiving everyone! May your cravings be satisfied and your bellies full! ," she joked.

Krakow and Rosenbaum met while filming the Hallmark Channel series When Calls the Heart and announced their marriage in June. They shared two wedding photos, including a kiss in their wedding attire. The Hallmark Channel congratulated them, saying: "It's a great day to be a #Heartie! Congratulations! ."

Last year, Krakow spoke to PEOPLE about how the show has inspired real-life romances. She noted: "I do think there's just something special about the show and the people involved. When you put a bunch of special people together in one place, connections are bound to be made." Krakow and Rosenbaum's relationship was confirmed by their co-stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace in 2020, and they married in 2024.
