Jessica Alba, Queen Latifah & Dakota Johnson Added to Red Sea’s ‘In Conversation’ Lineup

The Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia has revealed additional participants for its In Conversation program this year. The lineup now includes Jessica Alba, Ana de Armas, Nina Dobrev, Kirsten Dunst, Dakota Johnson, Queen Latifah, and Kriti Sanon, who will attend the festival to engage in discussions and interviews as part of the series.

The festival is scheduled to take place from December 4 to 13. The fifth edition will open with Rowan Athales biopic Giant, featuring Amir El Masry portraying British-Yemeni boxing champion Prince Naseem Naz Hamed. The film chronicles Hameds journey from his modest beginnings in Sheffield to becoming a world champion, highlighting his resilience against racism and Islamophobia in 1980s and 90s Britain. It also explores his close and transformative relationship with Irish boxing coach Brendan Ingle, who guided him to international success.

International films featured in the festival include Alice Winocours Couture, set in Paris and starring Angelina Jolie, and Olivier Assayass The Wizard of the Kremlin. Additionally, Rupert Wyatts Desert Warrior, filmed in Saudi Arabia with a global cast, will appear in the International Spectacular section.

Honorary awards will be presented to prominent figures such as Juliette Binoche, Michael Caine, Sigourney Weaver, French-Algerian director Rachid Bouchareb, and Hong Kong filmmaker Stanley Tong, recognizing their significant contributions to the film industry.
