Kelsea Ballerini Reveals Her Simple, Feel-Good Exercise Regimen

Kelsea Ballerini keeps her fitness routine straightforward, combining pilates three times weekly with daily treadmill walks. Her daily walks follow the popular "hot girl walk" trend, a flexible practice that can be done almost anywhere. Walking regularly is an effective way to support overall health.

Celebrity workout routines often grab attention, from Jennifer Anistons on-set arm exercises to Padma Lakshmis home workouts. However, many of these regimens can feel unrealistic for most people. Ballerini recently shared her approachable workout routine on Instagram, making it relatable and easy to follow.

During an Instagram "ask me anything" session, the country singer and The Voice coach was asked about her favorite ab workout. She shared, "Abs have been my goal and focus lately, mainly because my belly has been my insecurity my whole life, and I want to see how I can healthily shift that narrative for myself."

Her routine is simple and balanced: "Right now my abs are day-dependent," she explained. "But my routine is pilates three times a week, a 'hot girl walk' every day and then I just enjoy my food and wine, and I don't really worry about it."

Ballerini emphasizes mindful daily movement while enjoying her meals without stress about her body. Pilates, a discipline similar to yoga that focuses on controlled movements and breathing, helps improve posture, strengthen muscles, and reduce stress, making it a beneficial addition to any weekly schedule.

Her "hot girl walk" involves 30 minutes on a treadmill daily, split between a moderate speed on flat incline and a slightly slower pace on a higher incline. The trend was popularized by Mia Lind during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to boost mood and confidence. Lind now leads the Hot Girl Walk movement, offering playlists, routines, and community events, and authored a book encouraging participants to embrace self-confidence and gratitude during their walks.

According to Lind, the practice is inclusive and accessible: anyone can do it, anywherefrom trails to treadmills. It emphasizes confidence and goal-setting rather than appearance or diet. Walking offers an easy, equipment-free exercise option that fits into a busy lifestyle, making it perfect for everyone from college students to country music stars like Ballerini.

Combining pilates and daily walks, Ballerini has found a sustainable, enjoyable fitness approach that supports both physical health and mental well-being.
