"Peace, Love and Cowboys" serves as the final track on the deluxe edition of Lainey Wilson's CMA Award-winning album Whirlwind. Now, it also headlines the country stars holiday album. While the Christmas version introduces a festive touch with sleigh bells at the start, the heartfelt message of the song, co-written by Lainey, remains intact.
"'Peace, Love & Cowboys' represents the balance of a little wildness with a bit of calm in the same heart," Lainey shares. "Its about embracing freedom amid chaos and remembering that sometimes the cowboy way is the only way."
The seasonal EP also features "Christmas Cookies," widely recognized as a George Strait classic. Additionally, fans will hear a unique posthumous duet with holiday legend Bing Crosby on "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!"
Lainey Wilson will perform these festive tracks during Opry Country Christmas on December 10, bringing her signature blend of country charm and holiday cheer to the stage.
