Lily Allen is selling risque USB drives to promote her new album

British singer-songwriter Lily Allen has devised a bold new strategy to promote her fifth studio album, West End Girl. She recently launched an online shop featuring a range of merchandise, including an unconventional USB drive shaped like a butt plug.

The USB drive, alongside T-shirts, CDs, and vinyl records, is a standout addition to her promotional campaign. Designed to be provocative, the device contains MP3 files of the album and is marketed with a clear NSFW note.

Only a limited number of these USB drives will be available, with pre-orders currently open. Priced at $24.99, the drives are set to ship on January 30, 2026. The device features a blue-and-white polka dot pattern, inspired by the Miu Miu jacket Allen wears on the album cover.

On the website, the product is described as a Polka dot USB drive containing West End Girl MP3s, accompanied by a disclaimer stating, This product is a novelty USB device intended for data storage only. Allen also promoted the drop on Instagram with a post captioned, limited merch drop, live now, followed by a peach and electric plug emoji.

The USB drive ties into lyrics from Allens track Pussy Palace, which references sex toys in a playful narrative. Producer Blue May described the creation of the song as a fast, spontaneous process, with co-producer Leroy Clampitt adding the drum beat quickly, completing the track in roughly 20 minutes.

Allens cheeky approach with the USB drive highlights her inventive marketing tactics and her willingness to embrace risqu elements to connect with fans.
