Lily Allen has unveiled a bold new strategy to promote her latest album, West End Girl. The British singer-songwriter introduced an online shop featuring unique merchandise, including a USB drive shaped like a butt plug.
In addition to traditional items such as T-shirts, CDs, and vinyl, the USB drive represents Allens most unconventional promotional tool yet. It contains MP3 tracks from her fifth studio album, released earlier this October, and carries an NSFW warning due to its suggestive design.
The novelty USB is available for pre-order at $24.99 and is set for release on January 30, 2026. Its design is inspired by the blue and white polka dot Miu Miu jacket featured on the album cover. The product description emphasizes that it is a Polka dot USB drive containing West End Girl MP3s and notes that it is intended for data storage only.
Allen promoted the merchandise on Instagram with a post saying, limited merch drop, live now, accompanied by a peach and electric plug emoji.
The USB drive ties into the lyrics of her song Pussy Palace, which references Duane Reade bag with the handles tied / Sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside. Producer Blue May explained that the track was inspired by a West Village apartment and developed rapidly in the studio. Co-producer Leroy Clampitt added the drum beat, and the song reportedly came together in about 20 minutes.
