Miley Cyrus Laughs about Getting Her Engagement Ring on a 'Black Friday Deal' from Fiancé Maxx Morando

Miley Cyrus playfully commented that her engagement ring from Maxx Morando was a "Black Friday deal" during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The singer, 33, revealed the sparkling piece on the December 4 episode, showing off the cushion-cut diamond she received from her fianc.

The ring first appeared publicly at the Avatar: Fire and Ash world premiere in Los Angeles on December 1. A source later confirmed the couples engagement on December 2.

While chatting with Jimmy Kimmel, the host congratulated her and joked about the timing of the proposal: "I wonder if he realizes that if he waited like, three weeks, he wouldn't have to come up with a Christmas gift." Cyrus responded with humor, "This was Black Friday deal, baby," before adding that it might not have been a deal, though acknowledging the clever timing.

On the red carpet, Cyrus flaunted the gold and diamond ring alongside Morando, pairing it with a black Gucci gown. The piece was designed by jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche and features a cushion-cut diamond set in a thick 14-karat yellow gold band.

Experts have estimated the value of the ring differently. Daniela Tarantino, VP of merchandising at Blue Nile, suggested it could range from $300,000 to $450,000, noting that it is a "chunky gold east-west bezel set ring" and a modern bridal trend. Reyne Hirsch, former appraiser and Worthy ambassador, estimated the retail value at $150,000 to $250,000, describing it as a "stunning, minimalist" 4-5 carat cushion-cut diamond set east-to-west.

Cyrus was first seen wearing the ring in mid-November. She and Morando, 27, were first linked in December 2021 after being photographed together backstage during Cyrus' holiday special in Miami. Their relationship was confirmed publicly in April 2022 after they were spotted sharing a kiss in West Hollywood.
