Miley Cyrus Reveals Unexpected Fact About Her $150,000 Engagement Ring from Maxx Morando

Miley Cyrus recently confirmed her engagement to musician Maxx Morando after four years together. During a playful appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she shared a humorous anecdote about how the ring was purchased. This was a Black Friday deal, baby, Cyrus joked, leaving fans amused.

The engagement adds Miley to a growing list of pop stars who recently got engaged, including Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga. The news first emerged after fans noticed Cyrus wearing a striking diamond ring, confirming her engagement to Morando earlier this week.

On the December 4 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cyrus teased that Morando may have picked up the ring during a Black Friday sale. Kimmel joked about the timing of the engagement in relation to Christmas gifts, prompting Cyrus to quip, It wasnt, but he was smart that way. It might have been. Im not sure.

The ring itself features a cushion-cut diamond set on a thick 14k yellow gold band designed by Jacquie Aiche, with experts estimating its value at around $150,000.

In a recent conversation with Good Morning America, Cyrus admitted that Morandos proposal completely caught her off guard. I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation and I had completely surrendered and I'm telling you, I was so, so, so surprised, she said, praising him for pulling off the perfect surprise.

Cyrus and Morando, who began dating in November 2021 after appearing together at Guccis Love Parade fashion show, have largely kept their relationship private, though they have made occasional red carpet appearances, including the 2025 Oscars and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

The couple has also collaborated creatively on Cyruss ninth studio album, Something Beautiful. Ive always worked with the people that I love, and Maxx just inspires me so much, she told Harper's Bazaar, noting the deep creative connection they share.
