Olivia Munn Shares If She Would Consider Co-Hosting TODAY Show on a Permanent Basis

Last month, Olivia Munn joined Jenna Bush Hager as a guest co-host on the TODAY show, earning widespread praise from viewers. Since the episode aired, fans have been curious whether Munn might become a permanent addition to the program.

In a recent interview, the actress addressed the question, explaining that while she isnt currently looking to host full-time, she is open to stepping in when regular hosts take a vacation.

Munn appeared on Today with Jenna & Friends on November 19, showcasing her hosting skills alongside Jenna Bush Hager. Many viewers expressed enthusiasm at the idea of seeing her in a regular co-hosting role. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Hollywood Reporters Women in Entertainment Breakfast in Los Angeles, Munn shared her thoughts on the possibility.

The 45-year-old explained that a permanent role would be difficult due to her personal life, noting that her husbands frequent work travel prevents her from staying in New York City year-round. She also spends about six months each year in New York filming her Apple series.

Despite these commitments, Munn emphasized her fondness for Jenna Bush Hager and offered to fill in for the show whenever a host is on vacation. Her openness to co-hosting in these circumstances delighted fans.

During her guest appearance, Munn also shared a humorous story about her marriage proposal from comedian husband John Mulaney. She described how he proposed at the balcony of a Bel Air hotel, which had not been recently updated. The suite included a hot tub surrounded by signs, one of which read no diarrhea, inadvertently appearing in their engagement photos.
