Rebecca Gayheart Enjoys Rare PDA-Filled Date Night with Boyfriend Following Confession of 'Complicated' Relationship with Ex Eric Dane

Rebecca Gayheart was spotted enjoying a rare night out with her boyfriend, Peter Morton, in Los Angeles on December 3. The couple, who have kept a relatively low profile, have been romantically linked since 2023.

The 54-year-old actress and the 78-year-old Hard Rock founder were photographed leaving the Italian eatery E-Baldi in Beverly Hills. In the images, Gayheart was seen holding onto Morton, leaning her head on his shoulder, and sharing a kiss, displaying affectionate public gestures rarely captured before.

Gayheart and Morton first appeared together publicly in 2023, holding hands during a casual outing in Los Angeles. Since then, they have been seen together at events such as the Chanel pre-Oscars party in 2024, gradually making their relationship more visible to the public.

Gayheart remains legally married to actor Eric Dane, from whom she separated in 2018. Earlier this year, she decided to withdraw her divorce filing, amid Danes ALS diagnosis, which he revealed publicly shortly after. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, Gayheart described their connection as strong, emphasizing that they are "the best of friends" and "great coparents."

Reflecting on her past marriage, Gayheart said, "We were together for 15 years and have two wonderful children. I view that as a successful relationship, and we focus on that." She confirmed that their daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13, live with her full-time.

Gayheart also spoke about navigating the complexities of co-parenting with grace, stating, "I try to show my daughters that we show up for people no matter what. He is their father, and we approach it with dignity and grace." She added that she aims to set an example for her children on handling difficult situations with optimism.

Meanwhile, Dane has described Gayheart as his "biggest champion" and most reliable supporter. Following his ALS diagnosis, he noted in an interview with Diane Sawyer, "I call Rebecca every day. We have become better friends and better parents."
