'RHOBH' star Kyle Richards shares her thoughts on dating rumors

NEW YORK Kyle Richards is opening up about her personal life and love status. The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" personality spoke with USA TODAY about her separation, rumors surrounding her dating life, and public curiosity about her relationships.

As the longest-running consecutive cast member in the "Real Housewives" franchise, Richards personal journey has been closely followed on the show, including her split from husband Mauricio Umansky after 23 years of marriage.

She has also drawn attention for her friendship with country singer Morgan Wade, with speculation from fans and fellow cast members about whether their connection was romantic. Richards has consistently denied dating rumors. People will always be curious and talk, and I understand that, she explained.

Fans were intrigued by a moment in the "RHOBH" Season 15 trailer where Richards said, "I could go Brad; I could go Angelina." She clarified that the comment was playful: There were a few things behind that moment. I wanted to make them laugh, quiet the chatter, and show that Im open-minded. The girls laughed, and it worked."

When asked if she would allow cameras to capture a future relationship, Richards responded, Im not sure. Some women on the show date without it being shown, unless it feels natural to share.

Currently, she prefers a traditional approach to dating, avoiding apps entirely. Im too busy with rescue animals and shopping to add a dating app, she admitted.

Richards is also making efforts to get out and enjoy life, recounting a recent night out with co-star Sutton Stracke. We tried several places, but none were good. It felt like being in ninth grade looking for a spot to hang out. Well try again another night with different spots, she said, laughing.

Richards also reflected on her connection with former cast member Garcelle Beauvais, who left the show after five seasons. I thought we were getting closer, but when she left, she didnt respond to my messages and unfollowed us. That was disappointing, Richards shared.

She expressed understanding of the challenges her co-stars face on the show: Filming is tough. Weve had private conversations where we were both in tears. People dont always realize how difficult it can be.
