Sydney Sweeney Embraces Old Hollywood Glamour in Bold Neckline Dress

Sydney Sweeney embraced a classic Hollywood aesthetic at the New York City premiere of The Housemaid, captivating audiences in a glittering white gown. The actress, who has been consistently stylish while promoting her upcoming psychological thriller, delivered another memorable red carpet moment with a design that blended nostalgia and daring fashion.

For the screening, Sweeney wore a sparkling white gown adorned with crystals, showcasing a deep plunging neckline and delicate spaghetti straps. A ribbon bow at the bust added a feminine accent, while a feathered boa casually draped over her arms injected a touch of vintage flair. Paparazzi photos highlighted the ensembles elegant drama and Sweeneys confident presence.

Her retro-inspired look was complemented by soft, voluminous curls and minimal, glowing makeup. Subtle pink tones on her lips and dainty earrings enhanced the overall elegance without competing with the crystal-embellished gown, creating a flawless balance of sophistication and glamour.

Sweeney shared the red carpet with co-star Amanda Seyfried, who chose a pale pink halter gown featuring ruching at the midsection. Their joint appearance emphasized the stylish synergy among the cast during promotional events for the film.

The Housemaid, set to release in theaters on December 19, follows Millie (Sweeney), a woman seeking a fresh start as a live-in housemaid for the affluent couple Nina and Andrew Winchester, played by Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar. As Millie uncovers the couples dark secrets, she becomes embroiled in a tense and suspenseful world. Michele Morrone also stars in the film, which is directed by Paul Feig. This Lionsgate adaptation of Freida McFaddens bestseller is one of the final major literary adaptations of 2025. Originally scheduled to premiere alongside Marty Supreme, the films release will now coincide with Avatar: Fire & Ash.
