Sydney Sweeney Revives Old Hollywood Glamour with Striking Neckline Gown

During a New York City screening of The Housemaid, Sydney Sweeney embraced a full old Hollywood aesthetic, captivating the audience in a sparkling white dress. The actress has been impressing fans with her fashion choices while promoting her psychological thriller, and this latest appearance upheld that trend with a mix of nostalgia and daring style.

Sweeneys gown shimmered with crystal embellishments, featuring a deep plunging neckline, slender spaghetti straps, and a ribbon bow detail at the bust. She added a feathered boa draped loosely over her arms, enhancing the vintage glamour as she posed for photographers.

The Euphoria star completed the retro look with voluminous curls and soft pink makeup, keeping her overall look radiant yet understated. Subtle, sparkling earrings added just the right amount of shine without competing with the intricate gown, allowing her ensemble to command attention effortlessly.

She shared the red carpet with co-star Amanda Seyfried, who wore a pale pink halter gown with gentle ruching at the waist. Their joint appearance highlighted the casts fashionable presence during the films promotional tour.

The Housemaid, set to hit theaters on December 19, is a psychological thriller starring Sweeney as Millie, a woman seeking a fresh start as a live-in housemaid for the affluent couple Nina and Andrew Winchester, played by Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar. As Millie becomes aware of their hidden, sinister secrets, she finds herself drawn into a tense and shocking narrative. Michele Morrone also appears in the film.

Directed by Paul Feig, this Lionsgate adaptation of Freida McFaddens bestselling novel is among the final literary-based film releases of 2025. Initially planned to premiere opposite Timothe Chalamets Marty Supreme, it will now debut alongside Avatar: Fire & Ash.
