Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga named as top artists on Spotify for 2025

Spotify has released its annual Wrapped report, highlighting the most-streamed songs, albums, and artists of 2025. In the United States, Taylor Swift dominated the platform, earning the title of Spotify's most-streamed artist of the year. She is followed closely by Drake, Morgan Wallen, and Kendrick Lamar.

Despite her overall success, Taylor Swifts album The Life of a Showgirl ranked only eighth. It was surpassed by the soundtrack for KPop Demon Hunters and albums from Morgan Wallen, SZA, Bad Bunny, and Sabrina Carpenter.

The top 10 songs in the U.S. featured Kendrick Lamar and SZAs track "luther" at the number one spot. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' "Die With a Smile" secured second place. Other hits in the list included Alex Warrens "Ordinary", Billie Eilishs "Birds of a Feather", KPop Demon Hunters "Golden", and Chappell Roans "Pink Pony Club".

On the global stage, Bad Bunnys album DTMF led the charts, followed by the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and Billie Eilishs HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. Taylor Swift did not make the global top 10 albums, but she was recognized as the second most-streamed artist worldwide, just behind Bad Bunny.

The most popular song globally was "Die With a Smile", followed by "Birds of a Feather".
