'The Night Agent' Unveils Season 3 Sneak Peek, Scheduled for February Premiere

Netflix is bringing back The Night Agent with its third season, scheduled to premiere on February 19, 2026. Gabriel Basso returns in the lead role of Peter Sutherland in this gripping spy thriller. The upcoming season arrives just over a year after the release of season two, marking a shorter interval compared to the nearly two-year gap between the first and second seasons.

Alongside the announcement, Netflix shared a series of new photos and a brief teaser, offering a glimpse of Peter Sutherland's next mission for Night Action.

The official logline for season three reads: "Night Agent Peter Sutherland is tasked with locating a young Treasury agent who fled to Istanbul with classified government information after murdering his superior. This mission sets off a chain of events where Peter navigates a shadowy financial network while evading hired killers, eventually crossing paths with an unyielding journalist. Together, they uncover hidden secrets and longstanding rivalries that threaten national security and put both of their lives at risk."

The season brings back familiar faces including Louis Herthum, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Albert Jones, Ward Horton, and Amanda Warren. They are joined by new cast members Stephen Moyer, Callum Vinson, David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison, and Genesis Rodriguez.

Produced by Sony Pictures TV, The Night Agent was created by Shawn Ryan, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer through his MiddKid Productions. Executive producers include Marney Hochman (MiddKid), Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn (Exhibit A), James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, Nicole Tossou (Project X), and David Beaubaire (Sunset Lane Media), alongside Munis Rashid, Paul Bernard, Guy Ferland, and Seth Fisher.

Season three features multiple directors, with Guy Ferland, Adam Arkin, Paris Barclay, Hiromi Kamata, and Billy Gierhart each helming two episodes. The writing team includes Munis Rashid, Anayat Fakhraie, Seth Fisher, Eileen Myers, Corey Deshon, Imogen Browder, Andres Smith, and Aiyana White.
