The Sole Mention Meghan Markle Made of Her Royal Life in Her New Holiday Special

While preparing Christmas crackers together, Guidara asks Meghan if she has made them for a long time. Meghan confirms, For Christmas holidays, for sure, and demonstrates the tradition: Typically, people cross arms and do it They all pull at the same time. It does feel really connected. She adds, The way that I started to know them was, theyd always have almost a fortune cookie size joke or riddle, and something sweet. The two then proceed to make their own crackers.

Meghan experienced two Christmases in the UK: in 2017, after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, and in 2018, the year of their wedding. In 2019, she and Harry celebrated with her mother, Doria, and by December 2020, they had moved to California. Reflecting on her first Christmas with the royal family, Harry told BBC Radio 4s Today program, She really enjoyed it. The family loved having her there. Theres always that family part of Christmas, theres always that work element as well. And I think together we had an amazing time. He also shared that they stayed with Prince William and Kate at Anmer Hall, adding, We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running around with the kids.
