Prince Harry has finally appeared on Meghan Markles Netflix series, only to make light-hearted remarks about her cooking. Fans had speculated about his absence in the first two seasons of With Love, Meghan, which featured only a brief cameo. In the latest holiday-themed episode, he joins the set to taste dishes prepared by Meghan and guest chef Tom Colicchio.

During the festive special, Harry jokingly criticizes Meghans beetroot salad, calling it the anti-salad, and admits that her gumbo doesnt quite match the version made by her mother, Doria Ragland. Despite the critique, the Duchess responds with a kiss on her husbands lips.

Holiday Fun and Festive Activities

The one-hour Holiday Celebration episode, released Wednesday, features gift-wrapping, plate decorating, advent calendar creation, and crafting wreaths and crackers. Meghan expresses admiration for her guests, including hospitality expert Will Guidara, and keeps a playful excitement when meeting Colicchio. Tennis star Naomi Osaka helps with plate decoration but appears less enthusiastic, while Meghans friends Kelly McKee Zajfen and Lindsay Jill Roth participate energetically in matching holiday pajamas.

The episode also includes Meghans late rescue dog, Guy, and was filmed last autumn alongside the first two seasons.

Cooking Segment with Harry

Harry joins Meghan at the end of the show as she prepares gumbo, substituting spicy andouille sausage for the traditional turkey sausage favored by his mother-in-law. He reacts to the spicy dish with humor, saying, I can feel it puncturing through the top of my head. Meghans salad, containing ingredients Harry dislikes, prompts him to remark, That salad, me and the salad were having this sort of eye-off. Meghan then thanks him with a kiss for trying the dishes.

Family Touches in the Special

The couples children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, do not appear on screen but are central to the festive theme. Meghan places personalized notes and gifts in their advent calendars and crackers. She shares tips for Christmas trees and decorations, emphasizing the idea of creating family memories and highlighting little surprises in advent calendars. She explains that crackers are a traditional British holiday practice that fosters connection and joy.

Series Performance and Future Plans

With Love, Meghan premiered in March 2025. The first season received critical criticism but earned 2.6 million viewers in its first week, reaching Netflixs global top 10. The second season, released in August, drew fewer viewers and did not make the top 10. In August, the Sussexes signed a new multi-year deal with Netflix, a scaled-back arrangement compared to their original five-year contract.

Meghan has emphasized the effort behind producing the show. Netflix has not yet confirmed whether a third season will be produced.
