Rachel Zoe opened up about her recent separation from ex-husband Rodger Berman, providing insight into how their family is navigating the changes. The fashion designer, 57, spoke about Berman's current relationship during the December 4 premiere of Season 15 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

"Rodger has been seeing the same woman for a year," Zoe shared. She and Berman are parents to sons Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11. "The kids have probably known for about ten months," she added.

The couple, who married in 1998, worked together on several television projects including The Rachel Zoe Project and Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe. They announced their separation in September 2024.

When a producer suggested that Berman might have started dating Bree Jacoby immediately after their split, Zoe responded, "I'll let you do the math." She also acknowledged the challenge their children face in adjusting to the situation.

"I think they wonder why he sometimes says or does certain things, and why he spends time with his girlfriend versus with them," Zoe explained. She admitted that while she is attempting to view Berman as a friend, she added, "we're not there yet."

Speaking about her divorce decision in a November interview, Zoe said she wanted to prioritize her children and manage the transition responsibly. "The timeline's the timeline," she said regarding any possible overlap between Berman's relationship with Jacoby and their marriage. "Everything I answer is through a lens of what my children will see and hear. It is what it is. Life is wild, and it takes a lot to truly shock me."
