Yusuf/Cat Stevens cancels book tour in North America

The acclaimed musician Yusuf, also known as Cat Stevens, has officially canceled his North American tour for his memoir, Cat On The Road To Findout, originally planned for September. The tour had been postponed earlier due to visa complications, with hopes of rescheduling. However, those plans are now permanently shelved.

"Regrettably, my North American book tour has been officially cancelled," Yusuf stated. "In a confusing twist, the visa was delivered only after the final date of the tour had passed."

He added, "I understand how disappointing this must be for everyone anticipating the tour. My team and I explored every option, but the circumstances were beyond our control. I deeply appreciate your patience and support, and I hope future opportunities will arise under better circumstances. Peace and love, always."

Fans holding tickets will receive notifications regarding refunds. Cat On The Road To Findout was released in October, and the tour, titled Cat on the Road to Findout: An Evening Of Tales, Tunes, and Other Mysteries, was scheduled to begin on October 2 in Philadelphia.
