Kourtney Kardashian Confesses She Wasn't Ready for Motherhood When She Had Son Mason at 30: 'No One Gave Me Guidance'

Kourtney Kardashian Barker has shared her experiences of parenthood, revealing how welcoming her eldest son at the age of 30 shaped her approach to raising children. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, the 46-year-old mother of four discussed the challenges and learning moments she faced when Mason was born.

Speaking in a confessional, Kardashian Barker admitted she felt somewhat unprepared before becoming a parent. She noted that she did not receive advice or consult any parenting books at the time. "When I was 30 and had Mason, nobody told me what to do, I didnt read any books. My maternal instinct guided me toward attachment parenting," she shared.

By the time her daughter Penelope arrived, Kardashian Barker approached parenting differently. She read an attachment parenting book and found a method that felt more deliberate. She explained that while she had been working, she didnt consider the option of not working. "Now, I have the choice not to work, and I feel thankful to focus on what truly resonates with me," she added.

Family Life with Travis Barker

Kardashian Barker and her husband, Travis Barker, are parents to their 2-year-old son, Rocky Thirteen. She also has three other children: Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10. Barker, meanwhile, is father to daughter Alabama, 19, stepdaughter Atiana, 26, and son Landon, 22.

While she prefers not to show Rockys face on social media, Kardashian Barker frequently posts glimpses of him from behind. In September, she shared photos from her life on tour with Barker, including an adorable moment where Rocky mimicked his father by strumming a mini guitar alongside him. "Tour adventures: part 2," she captioned the images.

In August, Kardashian Barker dismissed rumors of another pregnancy following Rockys birth. She responded to a fan comment suggesting she was expecting again with a playful denial, stating, "Eating pancakes and jumping off cliffs ."

Family Moments on the Road

In September, she offered fans a look at her familys time on tour. Kardashian Barker posted photos of Rocky enjoying the Florida sunshine and shared snapshots of him exploring an aquarium with his father. She also included a cute image of a stuffed animal on a hotel bed, captioning the post, "Tour adventures: part 1."
