Sydney Sweeney's Republican-Inspired "Mar-A-Lago" Makeover Gains Popularity

Is there a distinct Republican look? That question has taken over social media after Sydney Sweeneys recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon went viral.

The 28-year-old actor has been in headlines throughout the year, particularly following the reaction to her American Eagle good jeans/genes campaign. Shortly afterward, it became public that she is registered as a Republican, which even prompted a public remark from former President Donald Trump.

Sweeney has worn a bob haircut since October, but for her Dec. 1 talk-show appearance she switched to a sleek, ultra-straight style. She paired the look with a dress by designer Alex Perry, whose creations have been worn by figures ranging from Rachel Zegler to Ivanka Trump.

The next evening, Sweeney appeared at The Housemaid premiere debuting yet another noticeably different style, drawing even more attention to her evolving public image.
