Fashion lovers and aficionados of Louis Vuitton can now experience a distinctive adventure in Seoul, South Korea. The recently opened "Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys Seoul" exhibit, located in the brands new flagship store, takes visitors on a chronological exploration of Louis Vuittons history, present innovations, and future vision.
The exhibition emphasizes the brands origins as a trunk maker, highlighting how Louis Vuitton products have accompanied travelers on countless journeys throughout the years. Guests move through multiple rooms, each offering immersive experiences that combine projections, videos, music, and more.
Each space focuses on a specific theme, including iconic pieces, watches, collaborations, and fashion collections. The company describes the exhibit as spanning three floors, with a narrative design that traces Louis Vuittons transformation from a visionary trunkmaker into a global House of Culture, celebrating travel, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Visitors can also explore rare memorabilia and archival artifacts, with numerous opportunities for striking photographs. Entry to the exhibit is free, though prior online reservation is required.
The Visionary Journeys exhibition is part of a larger multi-level Louis Vuitton store in Seoul, which also houses a caf, an artisan chocolate shop, and a restaurant led by Chef Junghyun Park of New Yorks two Michelin-starred Atomix. Spread across four floors, the store features ready-to-wear fashion, leather goods, watches, jewelry, beauty products, fragrances, and a home section with furniture and Art of Living pieces.
Louis Vuitton is part of the LVMH group, alongside other luxury brands like Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Rimowa, and Loro Piana. LVMH also operates Belmond, offering exclusive hotel and train experiences for luxury travelers worldwide.
Seoul is among numerous cities offering premium shopping experiences, with Italy recently ranked as the top destination for luxury shopping, followed by France and Japan, thanks to renowned fashion houses, favorable tax refunds for non-EU visitors, and competitive local pricing.
