Hervé Léger Pre-Fall 2026: A City Girl Goes Global

For the pre-fall 2026 collection, Herv Lgers creative director Michelle Ochs drew inspiration from the vibrant energy of New York City while envisioning a global appeal. I focused on the citys dynamic energy. I wanted bold, vivid colors like deep blues and flashes of purple, creating shapes that feel architectural yet electric, Ochs explained during a preview of the collection.

Since joining Herv Lger in 2023, Ochs has revitalized the iconic bandage dress, transforming it with contemporary twists. One standout piece was a bias-cut black slip dress with a single bandage strip draped across the clavicle, offering a fresh perspective on the brands signature style.

Ochs also embraced nostalgia for the glamour of the 90s and early 2000s, presenting designs such as a tiered lace minidress, an ombr print maxidress, and a striking fire-engine red halterneck dress featuring keyhole details. While she has introduced daywear elements like sleek knits and leather pieces over recent seasons, the collection remains dominated by statement party dresses.

The brands reach is expanding in Europe, with new wholesale partnerships including Browns in London and Enny Monaco in Greece. Europe has been extremely receptive, and theres a growing audience discovering the brand again. Weve gained real momentum, Ochs said.

Despite the global expansion, Herv Lger continues to celebrate its party-focused identity. Ochs keeps innovating subtly, reinterpreting the high-octane glamour that defines the label while staying true to its signature appeal.
