Backstreet Boys Announce Six-Night 2026 Into the Millennium German Residency

The Backstreet Boys are returning to where it all began. The iconic pop group announced a six-night residency in Germany for 2026, starting on September 25, at the Merkur Spiel Arena in Dsseldorf. The series, titled Into the Millennium Homecoming: Live in Germany, will be their only European performances next year.

This residency marks a full-circle moment for the band, who first achieved platinum success in Germany three decades ago. Long before U.S. audiences embraced them, German fans helped propel their hit Ill Never Break Your Heart into the top 10 charts.

Brian Littrell shared, Calling this a homecoming feels right because Germany is where our career truly began. Its where our dream became reality. Returning for these shows completes the circle for us.

In a promotional video for the residency, the group Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, and Littrell are seen exploring an airplane hangar filled with vintage 1995 stage props and stacks of Millennium CDs. While preparing for a photoshoot in all-white outfits, a backdrop falls, prompting Littrell to joke, Guys, are we doing this again? as Richardson announces, our rides here fellas, with their BSB-branded private jet waiting in the background.

Before becoming one of the worlds best-selling boy bands, the Backstreet Boys built their foundation in Europe, particularly in Germany. They recorded major hits overseas and toured extensively, cultivating devoted fans who supported them early on by attending shows, calling radio stations, and waiting outside hotels, shaping the trajectory of their global career.

The residency dates are September 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, and October 2. Fans can access an artist pre-sale starting December 12 at 12 p.m. CET, with general tickets going on sale December 15 at 10 p.m. CET.

The German shows follow more than a year after their 20-date residency at Las Vegas Sphere in August. The performances promise a large-scale celebration of the Backstreet Boys legacy, bringing the iconic Millennium album to life on stage. Fans can expect classics like I Want It That Way and Larger Than Life, along with a selection of their greatest hits.
