The moment you descended the stairs at The Miami Beach Edition, the bass was impossible to miss. It intensified with every step, guiding guests into a dimly lit basement where a dazzling showcase awaited: Hublots Big Bang collection.
During Miami Art Week on Thursday evening, Hublot celebrated two decades of its flagship line with a striking exhibition. The watches on display embodied the brands daring aesthetic, including the $21,700 Titanium Ceramic model, crafted from Grade 5 titanium and adorned with a black ceramic bezel. Some pieces exceeded $40,000, cementing Big Bang as a cornerstone of Hublots contemporary design legacy.
This years campaign mirrored that audacity, featuring Choupette, the iconic blue-eyed Birman cat linked to Karl Lagerfeld, under the slogan Own It. This choice highlighted Hublots willingness to break conventional luxury boundaries, echoing the innovation that earned the original 2005 Big Bang its Best Design accolade at the Grand Prix dHorlogerie de Genve.
Attendees wandered past illuminated watches, capturing moments on their phones, before entering a room bathed in purple light and pulsing with deep beats. The bar offered chilled gin and tonics along with Miami Vice cocktails, blending Belvedere Vodka, lemon, vanilla, and passion fruitperfect for the tropical atmosphere.
VIP guests, including Ty Dolla $ign, Leon Bridges, and Tyriq Withers, arrived early, while the main crowd filled with stars like Josh Richardson and Julez Smith Jr., eager for the evenings performance. As the clock passed 10 p.m., 50 Cent took the stage to a roaring audience. Fans reveled in nostalgia as he performed his biggest hits, with In Da Club sparking the loudest cheers.
The event was a vivid celebration of Hublots daring spirit, combining music, luxury, and unforgettable energy in true Big Bang fashion.
