CCI names Steve Wyres as vice president of sales and marketing

Conductive Containers (CCI), a producer of electrostatic discharge (ESD) packaging solutions, has appointed Steve Wyres as vice-president of sales and marketing. In this role, he will manage commercial operations for CCI and its subsidiary Crestline Plastics, which joined the company in 2023.

Wyres will lead regional sales teams, business development initiatives, and customer service efforts. CCI stated that consolidating these functions under a single leadership role is aimed at improving coordination and supporting growth in critical-use sectors.

This appointment comes as CCI advances a multi-year growth plan that began following its partnership with private equity firm Great River Capital Partners in 2021. Wyres commented: I am thrilled to join CCI at this pivotal time. With the combined strengths of CCI and Crestline in ESD-safe and optics packaging, extensive material capabilities, and integrated manufacturing operations, we are well-positioned to support clients in mission-critical environments.

Prior to joining CCI, Wyres held senior sales positions at Colder Products Company, part of Dover Corporation. His experience includes modernizing sales processes, developing scalable customer support systems, and managing teams across the Americas.

CCI CEO Samus Lafferty said: We are delighted to have Steve on board. His disciplined, client-focused approach and demonstrated commercial expertise make him an ideal leader as we expand our capabilities and serve customers in electronics, optics, aerospace, defense, and medical device industries.

CCI and Crestline operate manufacturing facilities in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their production capabilities encompass thermoforming, injection molding, foam fabrication, conductive corrugated products, and multi-substrate assembly.
