Flying Object Hits Whoopi Goldberg During “The View” Broadcast

During a recent episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg experienced an unexpected airborne interruption while participating in a holiday-themed toy segment with cohost Sara Haines. The unusual incident saw Goldberg chasing a small flying object across the studio set.

As the 70-year-old EGOT-winning actress and Haines tried to spread festive cheer, a pair of unidentified objects hovered above them, one shimmering with green, yellow, and red lights. Haines reached out to interact with the object while a guest on the show commented, It'll come down, it'll come down, as the hovering item lingered above her.

Goldberg quickly sprang into action, grabbing one of the objects and tossing it back into the air while holding a stuffed toy. The playful chaos continued, with Haines reporting, We lost Whoopi! as Goldberg pursued the object across the studio. Eventually, she recovered it and returned to join the segment, which included feeding dolls with tiny arms and scooping miniature marshmallows into their mouths.

This is not the first time Goldberg has encountered strange phenomena on The View. Previously, she examined what appeared to be a deceased alien displayed on a large screen during a broadcast and, in March 2024, told guest Kumail Nanjiani that extraterrestrials are real and have already been present on Earth for some time.

The View continues to air weekdays on ABC, regularly delivering lively discussions and unpredictable moments.
