The estimated cash value of the jackpot now stands at $383.5 million, making it the eighth-largest jackpot in the history of the game.

The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, and could determine whether the prize is claimed or if it continues to grow further.

How to Play Powerball

To participate in Powerball, purchase a ticket for $2 at various locations, such as gas stations, convenience stores, or grocery stores. In some states, you can buy tickets online.

On your ticket, select six numbers: five white balls (ranging from 1 to 69) and one red Powerball (ranging from 1 to 26). You can also add the Power Play option for an additional $1, which multiplies all non-jackpot prizes.

The Power Play multiplier varies between 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X, depending on the drawing. If you prefer not to choose numbers, you can use the Quick Pick option to let the system generate numbers for you.

To win the jackpot, all five white balls must match in any order, along with the correct Powerball number. Powerball drawings occur three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. If there is no jackpot winner, the prize continues to increase.
