WASHINGTON, Dec 5 The head of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission sharply criticized the European Union for imposing a fine on Elon Musks social media platform, X, citing violations of EU online content regulations.
"Once more, Europe is penalizing a thriving U.S. tech company simply for its success," FCC Chairman Brendan Carr stated in a post on X. "This is essentially Europe taxing Americans to support a continent restrained by its own restrictive rules."
