Best Known For: Bassist for the punk band Pennywise
Current Location: Huntington Beach
Where I Want to Be: Im exactly where I want to be.
Excited About: Im thrilled about the release of our debut album with 84 Days on November 7. Ive been dreaming of making a record like this for years.
Music Collection: My collection mostly consists of late 70s rock and punk, including The Clash, David Bowie, Cheap Trick, and Boston. I also enjoy newer acts like Home Front, as well as artists outside punk such as Lord Huron, The Handsome Family, and even Juice WRLD.
Preferred Format: I mainly stream my music today because its simple and easy to access. I prefer whatever format is easiest to play loud.
5 Albums I Couldnt Live Without
Machine Gun Etiquette The Damned
From the moment I heard the bass opening on Love Song, I knew this was one of the most complete punk albums ever. Every instrument bursts with energy, the vocals are strong, and Captain Sensible delivers incredible guitar solos throughout. Its a full experience from start to finish.
The Black Album The Damned
Another masterpiece from The Damned. They seamlessly mix fast, slow, melodic, and raw punk. The addition of Paul Gray on bass made a huge impact on my own playing, and he remains one of my favorite bassists.
Suffer Bad Religion
This album is both powerful and cohesive. Its melodies and harmonies are remarkable. Suffer transformed punk rock when it came out, and its influence still resonates today.
No Control Bad Religion
Considered Suffers follow-up in every way, No Control is even more cohesive, melodic, and forceful. Both albums rank among the best punk records ever, locked in a constant rivalry of greatness.
Heaven and Hell Black Sabbath
Even as I delved deeper into punk, I kept listening to Sabbath. Tony Iommis riffs are unmatched, Geezer Butlers bass lines inspired countless licks I play, and Bill Wards drumming echoes Bonhams brilliance. Dios vocals are unbeatable, making this record phenomenal from start to finish.
