Adam Sandler and Ariana Grande share a strong mutual admiration for each others craft. The two appeared together on Actors on Actors on Friday, joining a host of other stars.

Sandler revealed that his children are big fans of Arianas music, often singing her songs during car rides. While he admitted that the lyrics can occasionally be quite explicit, he noted that his kids have picked up on content that he actually appreciates.

Ariana is known for incorporating some bold language in her hits, including the track Nasty. Similarly, Adam has a history of appearing in films that some might consider unsuitable for younger audiences.

Despite their different artistic paths, both stars expressed deep respect for each others work. Ariana praised Adams performances, mentioning her enjoyment of The Waterboy and Billy Madison, particularly his dramatic scenes. In turn, Adam shared that his daughters love Arianas song NASA and even encouraged him to highlight it during their conversation, noting that her music is a regular part of his car playlist.

Ariana also reflected on Adams time on Saturday Night Live, expressing admiration for his early work. Meanwhile, Adam earned a Gotham Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Performance for his role in Jay Kelly alongside George Clooney. Ariana received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for the 2024 film Wicked and reprises her role as Galinda Upland in the sequel Wicked: For Good, which has grossed over $400 million at the U.S. box office since its November release.

Fans are left wondering if the two might team up for a future film project, combining their unique talents on screen.
