Im not living a typical 24-year-old life, says Alix Earle, reflecting on her whirlwind schedule between high-profile events and dance rehearsals. The social media star is currently balancing the glamorous A-lister Vogue World event with intensive practice sessions alongside her Dancing With the Stars partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. Despite the demanding pace, Earle approaches it all with her characteristic energy and enthusiasm.
Its a lot of pressure, but its been incredibly fun to wake up and dance every day, she shared via Zoom from her temporary Los Angeles residence, set up for the show. Her efforts paid off as she captured second place this season, dazzling audiences with a fiery freestyle finale featuring a mashup of Nelly Furtados Maneater and Tate McRaes Sports Car, earning perfect scores from the judges.
Earles fashion sense is equally bold, known for edgy red carpet looks like her side-cut Tom Ford minidress at the MTV Video Music Awards. For her latest shoot, she embraced a colorful, playful style inspired by a 1950s housewife aesthetic. The outfits were full of fun textures and vibrant energy. We had a great day experimenting and playing with the looks, she says.
Her approach to fashion has evolved into trusting her instincts over following trends. Now its about gut feeling. If I love it in the mirror, its right. If I feel like hiding, its not. Ive let go of outside expectations and focus on what I enjoy, Earle explains. This philosophy also guided her collaboration with Frame earlier this year, where her Alix jeans sold out twice immediately after launch, exemplifying her remarkable influence on her audience.
Alixs transparency extends beyond fashion. She became a viral sensation with her 2022 TikTok series Get Ready With Me, embracing imperfections and breaking the mold of over-curated influencer content. I lead with honesty. Sometimes things are messy, and thats what makes us human, she reflects.
Her openness about personal struggles, particularly with acne, has resonated deeply with fans. Sharing unfiltered experiences brought her unprecedented engagement, allowing her to connect authentically with her 13 million-strong following across TikTok and Instagram. Hearing that I help people feel confident in their skin is incredibly moving, she says.
Outside social media, Earle has pursued various ventures, including acting prospects inspired by DWTS, brand investments, and charitable work. She created a scholarship at the University of Miami for business students and founded the volunteer group Serving in Heels, providing meals for those in need. I wanted to offer more than financial support; I wanted to be a mentor and help others pursue their dreams, she shares.
Despite her rising fame, Alix maintains a grounded approach. Meeting fans who feel like were best friends, connecting over small, personal moments Ive shared, makes it all meaningful. This is a space where people feel seen and safe, she says.
From her early marketing studies at the University of Miami to becoming a multifaceted digital influencer, dancer, and philanthropist, Alix Earle continues to carve out a unique space in both social media and mainstream entertainment, all while staying true to herself.
