Jai'Len Josey & Xavier Omar Bring 'HunnyMoon Mountain' to Alabama Hills for Emotional 'Painting the Stars' Performance

Contemporary R&B artists JaiLen Josey and Xavier Omr took a moment from their ongoing tour to perform in the striking Alabama Hills of California on Friday, December 5. The duo delivered an intimate rendition of their heartfelt track Painting the Stars, which marks the debut of Feetures COLLABs original series.

The rugged landscape, bathed in the warm glow of sunset, provided a stunning natural stage. Seated on logs with friends gathered around, Josey and Omrs smooth harmonies filled the air, creating a scene as captivating as a bonfire, but powered by music instead of flames.

Josey reflected on the collaboration, saying, Working with Xavier refined my approach to R&B, and collaborating through Feeture opened my eyes to the art of merging creative worlds. This first COLLABs project feels larger than ourselves, and performing it live brings that vision to life.

The song, which also appears on Xavier Omrs HunnyMoon Mountain project, gained renewed energy during the live show with support from friends contributing background vocals. Omr commented, Collaborating with JaiLen was a true honor. She intuitively understands the flow of a song, and her contribution hit every mark. Continuing their North American tour, the duo is scheduled to perform in Atlanta on Saturday, December 6, followed by shows in New York City at LPR, Dallas, and San Francisco later this month, with Josey providing support throughout.
