Jason Kelce's Wife Kylie Left 'Furious' by His Bedtime Story

Jason Kelce's bedtime story left his daughter "terrified" and his wife "furious." In a recent episode of their podcast, "New Heights," Jason and his brother Travis Kelce shared an amusing yet chaotic bedtime story experience. Jason, a former NFL player, revealed how his storytelling skills might not always be appropriate for young children.

Jason recounted an incident involving his youngest daughter, Elliotte Ray, and her favorite plushie, Slothy. The father of four shared that he had agreed to incorporate Elliottes stuffed toy into a bedtime story upon her request. That evening, Jason was planning to read "Pinocchio" when his daughter asked for Slothy to be included in the tale.

He began by saying, "One night, Ellie wished upon a star, and Slothy came to life." According to Jason, his daughters reaction was less than ideal. "Her eyes went wide, and she didnt move," he recalled. She was clutching her plushie tightly, clearly frightened by the twist in the story.

Jason admitted that altering the story this way may have been a poor decision. "The only thing after the story, Ellie was just so terrified that she was holding [the plushie]," he said. His brother Travis, unable to contain his laughter, commented, "This is so good."

While Jasons daughter was scared by the tale, his wife, Kylie, was left "furious" by the turn of events. Jason went on to mention that he enjoys telling stories to his kids, and even likes to sing them lullabies at bedtime. For those unaware, Jason and Kylie are parents to four daughters: Wyatt Elizabeth (6), Elliotte (4), Bennett Llewellyn (2), and Finnley "Finn" Anne (8 months).
