Kim Cattrall from 'Sex and the City' ties the knot with longtime partner Russell Thomas in a private London ceremony

Kim Cattrall has tied the knot with her long-term partner, Russell Thomas. The Sex and the City actress and her fianc exchanged vows on December 4 at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, in a ceremony attended by only a dozen guests.

The couples story began in 2016 when Cattrall appeared on BBC's Womans Hour. Their connection later blossomed through a modern approach: Thomas reached out to Cattrall via social media. They maintained contact, and the London-based audio engineer eventually visited her on Vancouver Island, Canada. It was a bold move on his part, since we barely knew each other beyond a few shared meals. But he came, and it went wonderfully, Cattrall recalled. Weve been inseparable ever since.

For the intimate wedding, Cattrall chose a white Dior outfit featuring a tailored jacket paired with a pleated tulle skirt that fell to the knee. She accessorized with lace gloves by Cornelia James and a sophisticated hat by Philip Treacy, with styling done by her longtime friend and former Sex and the City costume designer Patricia Field. Thomas wore a custom suit by Richard James.

The couple now splits their time between Vancouver Island and the U.K. While they have generally kept their relationship private, Cattrall has occasionally shared glimpses of their life together. In a June interview with The Times, she praised Thomas, saying, He began as an actor and has lived a fascinating, independent life. Hes a bit of a rebel, which I adore. She continued, Weve been together for nearly a decade now, and its been an absolute joy. Weve had so much fun together.
