Netflix has announced that Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan will be joining the cast of the upcoming second season of The Hunting Wives. Matula will take on the role of Nadia Kelly, while FitzAlan is set to portray Lincoln Trout. Specific details about their characters have not been revealed yet.

They will join returning cast members Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box.

Set in East Texas, the series centers on Sophie ONeil, who relocates with her family from the East Coast to the heart of East Texas. There, she becomes captivated by socialite Margo, played by Malin Akerman, leading her into a world of obsession, seduction, and murder. Season 2 will explore the strained relationship between Sophie and Margo, as old secrets and emerging adversaries force them back together, blurring the line between hunter and hunted.

Kim Matula is known for her work on the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful, the Lifetime series Unreal, and the Fox comedy L.A. to Vegas. In 2024, she portrayed Jane Curtin in Jason Reitmans film Saturday Night. Alex FitzAlans credits include Season 2 of Amazon Prime Videos The Wilds and the films Slender Man and Chevalier.

Produced by Lionsgate, The Hunting Wives was created and is showrun by Rebecca Cutter, who also serves as executive producer alongside Cobb and Erwin Stoff of 3 Arts Entertainment. While the first season originally aired on Starz before Netflix acquired the rights, Season 2 will be presented as a Netflix original.

Production for the new season is currently underway, with additional casting announcements expected in the future.
