Meghan McCain Criticizes Tucker Carlson for Guest's 'Fat' Comments, Pointing Out Pregnancy at Almost 9 Months

Meghan McCain spoke out after a guest on Tucker Carlson's podcast repeatedly called her "fat."

In a post on X, McCain, 41, addressed the remarks made during a discussion between Carlson and Milo Yiannopoulos. She acknowledged her pregnancy, writing, Yes, I am very fat, I'm almost 9 months pregnant with my third child. I am also very happy.

McCain emphasized that the comments were inappropriate, stating that such behavior is not Christian behavior despite Carlson often discussing Christianity on his show. She criticized the attitude as meanness to women and hypocrisy that contributes to conservative struggles with women voters of her generation.

Reflecting on her media career, McCain noted that people have made comments about her weight since she started at 22, calling such attacks old, lazy, tired. She added that she doesnt profit from negativity and struggles to understand anyone who does.

McCain and her husband, Ben Domenech, announced in June that they are expecting their third child.

The incident occurred during the December 3 episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, where Yiannopoulos commented on McCain's weight while Carlson remained silent. Yiannopoulos described her in disparaging terms, prompting McCains response.

McCain, daughter of Cindy and the late Senator John McCain, has previously criticized conservative media figures for insensitive remarks. In November, she spoke out against Megyn Kelly for questioning whether Jeffrey Epstein should be considered a pedophile, calling the discussion disgusting.
